Welcome to the website of the 4th international FMR1 Premutation conference.
The International FMR1 premutation conference has become a major interdisciplinary meeting for clinicians, basic scientists and students working in the fields of fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS), fragile X-associated primary ovarian insufficiency (FXOPI), and other associated clinical phenotypes of the FMR1 premutation.
The conference will be held from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th September 2019 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and will include lectures about basic mechanisms, clinical involvement, therapy and biomarkers. On Friday afternoon we will introduce a new special topic in our program that is focused on FMR1 premutation carrier perspectives, in collaboration with the European Fragile X Network.
We have invited several renowned keynote speakers with different backgrounds. By sharing information and discussing progress in our collective understanding of premutation disorders, together with world’s leading investigators in the field, we hope that this meeting will inspire new collaborations and novel research and treatment initiatives.
The conference will contain the following topics:
